One Direction's Calendar for 2014 is the Bestseller Of All Time !!
Congratulations to the lads, but what a credit to the calendar as a product !
With calendars available on our Mobile Phones, PCs, Tablets and Email Programs. It seems that our love affair with Month-to-View Wall Calendars is still bigger than ever. Teenagers obviously need to see what the date is now and next week at a glance, but also want to brighten up their walls with their favourite stars.
The Cliff Richard Calendar has always been a best seller over the decades, but in the 70s and 80s he never had competition from electronic alternatives.
Its nice to see Tom Daley, Kelly Brook and Keith Lemon breaking up the Pop Star monopoly in the top 20. Olympian Tom Daley slugged it out over the festive period with Justin Beiber for the number 2 spot. But other normally strong sellers like Banksy, Aresnal FC, Page 3 Girls, Top Gear, Family Planner, Racing Post, Man Utd, Wheres Wally and DR Who all got squeezed out of the top 20
Other debut calendars must be happy with their sales. These all reached the top 50 first time out - Joey Essex, Mark Wright, BBC Frozen Planet, Mrs Brown's Boys, Moshi Monsters and Ed Sheeran (source: Danilo & HMV)
